In preparation for a commissioned line drawing of Leonardo DaVinci's Last Supper I discovered that he had done several preperatory figure and layout studies before settling on the final arrangement of the twelve apostles. The other day a little boy I know told me he had learned to ride his bike without training wheels. It reminded me (just like this sketch portrait) of how my younger brother use to be anxious about learning to ride his bike. Maine Lighthouse – Landscape Illustration
Ever had a place that you always wanted to go, and then finally you got to see it in person? Well, this was it for me.
