Eagle Take-off – Oil Painting

This Eagle is the final oil painting on linen paper in the bird series. Painted from a couple shots I took while fishing in Canada. When the fish aren’t biting I’m snapping away.

I love taking photos of wildlife and turning them into beautiful oil paintings.

There are a lot of impressive things to view in this awesome world and watching wildlife on the shores of waterways is one of my favorites, including the majestic eagles as they soar overhead and then dive towards the water to snatch their prey from the surface of a glassy lake.
