Origins Of Father Christmas

Father Christmas - Santa Claus FigureThe origins of Father Christmas can be wide and varied. Homes were often visited by this Holiday Gift Bearer and to this day his presence in our household is considered a delightful addition to the spirit of the Holidays. Christmas decorations were used to welcome Saint Nick or Santa, but now more often than not a Santa Claus figure or Old World Father Christmas is a standard part of our holiday decor.
