Santa Ornaments.
Well, some call them Santa, some, little Christmas Men, others call them creepy or ugly little men. (They are not for everyone.) In any case, my little holiday ornaments were finished up and many went on their way to brighten people’s homes and holidays.
They went from bald faces on stacks of costumes:

to piles of smiling Christmas characters.

Money and Magic.
My November post was delayed till now because of preparation for today’s Holiday Fair. Making money to replenish art supplies was the goal, but the outcome was more. It was a gift of magic. Magic is in the moments you don’t see coming. Magic is in the eyes of children who delight in funny faces and trinkets of little festive figures. Magic is in people you meet with special personal connections only a few understand. Magic is in connecting with someone whom your past artwork has touched the life of, and who have in some way touched yours.
There is magic in everyday life, but especially in this dark season when we celebrate the connections that light our lives and carry us through to brighter days.
Wishing you all a magical holiday season.
