There are all kinds of Journeys.
Regardless of the mode, you are going from here to there.
Are you journeying from one piece of land to another? Is the journey from sea to sea? Are you moving forward through intelligence? Is the passage simply through time? Well truthfully, none of these journeys are simple to travel through. Especially if you wish the outcome to be promising.
I enjoy traveling by boat, kayak, train, motorcycle, bicycle, not so much by plane, and car travel is okay if I don’t have to travel during rush hour on the beltline in Madison. Why, even a hay wagon excursion is enjoyable, but then, I don’t have allergies. A trip like that would not be pleasant for my husband.
Who do you wish to travel with?

That’s the thing to consider. While I enjoy those modes of travel, my husband wouldn’t necessarily be as comfortable with all of them.
It’s great when I don’t have to take the reins when we skip about the lake on the boat or weave about the countryside on the motorcycle. My husband always makes me feel more at ease when we journey by plane.
So there you have it. Does it make a difference in travel when someone is there to lend a hand?
I think it makes all the difference, no matter what the journey, to be able to; so to say, hold someone’s hand. There is comfort in companionship. There is security in partnership. There is comradery in intellectual and imaginative growth.
For me, the best way to go through life is holding someone’s hand.
