Santa Claus is Coming I'm sure that jolly little fellow has been on many minds since the Thanksgiving holiday has passed. He certainly has been on my mind as I've been creating little Santa and holiday men over the past few weeks, to sell this coming weekend at a local fair, and then to place on my site. I snapped a photo of one to share. Photos of Santa Kids for generations have been hoping to snap a photo of Santa in the act, but most often settle for posing for one with Santa at … [Read more...] about Santa and little Holiday men

Chipmunks
Darling or Deleterious They've been scurrying about my yard and garden all summer. Planting things in my flower pots. I'm certain my pot of geraniums would not support an oak tree. Some books I've come by at writing conferences, some came from family and friends and some are on loan from the Little Free Library boxes around … [Read more...] about Sizing Up
Fish Tails and Fish Tales
Working on a manuscript and story board about a head strong fish. I included a variety of characters for her to interact with. There are different fish tails and fish fins. Dots and stripes, big and small, sleek and strong are included in the mix. Fish That Don't Look Like Fish In a story about the main character eventually wondering where she fits in, why not include members of the fish family who also don't look like they fit in. After all, one is never usually alone in feeling … [Read more...] about Fish Tails and Fish Tales
